In June 2023, Canada extended invitations to more than 5,100 candidates through 18 draws conducted under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). These draws were conducted by six provinces, namely Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, and Prince Edward Island (PEI).
Notably, Manitoba stood out by issuing 1,745 invitations through the PNP program, securing its position as the frontrunner among the provinces followed by Quebec which issued 1006 invitations.
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) plays a crucial role in Canadian immigration by granting provinces and territories the authority to nominate individuals they wish to welcome into their respective regions.

1. Manitoba
Manitoba has emerged as the leading province among others participating in the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) by extending the highest number of invitations to 1745 candidates. These invitations were issued through four separate draws, and the selection criteria for these invitations were as follows:
Occupation-Specific Selection: Profiles indicating current employment in Manitoba in occupations identified as having a high demand for labor.
All Occupations: Profiles that were not selected in the occupation-specific selection process were taken into consideration.
International Education Stream: Profiles that met the eligibility requirements for the International Education Stream.
Skilled Worker Overseas: Profiles that were directly invited under a strategic recruitment initiative by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

3rd Draw: June 26, 2023
In accordance with the special immigration measures implemented by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada to address the situation in Ukraine, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has taken steps to support individuals affected by these ongoing events. As part of the Manitoba government’s response, the MPNP will conduct regular Expression of Interest (EOI) draws specifically for candidates who meet all eligibility criteria and are impacted by the situation in Ukraine.
In this latest special draw, the government extended invitations to 49 candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).

- Food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations
Among the total of 1745 invitations, 563 invitations were granted to candidates who indicated a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
2. Quebec
The Minister of Immigration, Francization, and Integration in Quebec extended invitations to 1006 individuals to apply for permanent selection. These invitations were specifically offered to individuals who met the following requirements:
Possessing a French oral proficiency level of 7 or higher, as determined by the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français des personnes immigrantes adultes or equivalent.
Attaining a score equal to or exceeding 626 points based on the designated criteria.
In addition, candidates who fulfilled the following criteria also received invitations:
Holding a valid job offer outside the territory of the Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.
3. Ontario
In a series of three draws, Ontario extended invitations to 1000 candidates under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) for Employer Job Offer candidates. Out of these, a total of 256 candidates with scores of 26 and above were invited to apply for the In-Demand Skills stream.
Under the Foreign Worker stream, two separate draws were conducted. In the first draw, 426 candidates with trades occupations were invited to apply, provided their scores were 36 and above. In the second draw, 318 candidates in healthcare occupations were invited with scores of 33 and higher.
4. British Columbia
In June 2023, British Columbia conducted four draws under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and granted invitations to 694 candidates to apply for the program. Here are the specifics of the draws conducted:

6. Alberta
In June 2023, Alberta, which issued the lowest number of invitations under the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) with a total of 267 invitations, conducted two draws.
The first draw took place on June 1, 2023, and extended invitations to 117 candidates under the Alberta Express Entry Stream. These candidates were potentially eligible based on criteria such as having a family connection and possessing a primary occupation in demand. The invited candidates were required to have a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 304.
In the second draw held on June 8, 2023, Alberta invited 150 candidates under the Alberta Express Entry Stream. These candidates were potentially eligible based on criteria such as having a priority sector occupation in Agriculture and French as their first language. The invited candidates were required to have a CRS score of at least 382.
