800 Candidates invited for an All-program Express Entry Draw 257

Express Entry 257

The 257th Express Entry Draw, which was the most recent, was held on July 11th, 2023. The draw was open to all programs. With a CRS score of 505, Express Entry Draw 257 invited 800 applicants from all programs.

This happens to be the fifth Express Entry draw for July 2023. Every month, Canada invites thousands of people to apply for permanent residence. The express entry draw #258 might take place on July 12th.

In comparison to all program draw earlier, the CRS cut-off scores for the previous two draws have been higher. The CRS ratings for targeted draws, in contrast to all-program draws, have been much lower.

The most draws ever held in a single week were held by Express Entry last week when they conducted a record-breaking four draws. One came from an unexpected all-program draw. The other three were draws for French speakers, healthcare workers, and STEM workers, respectively. Compared to the recent draw, the CRS cut-off score was lower in each of these draws. The draw on July 7th attracted 2,300 applicants with French competency with a cut-off score of just 439.

The IRCC established Express Entry as an immigration procedure to handle Canadian permanent residents who want to work there. The Federal Skilled Worker Programme (FSWP), the Federal Skilled Trades Programme (FSTP), the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), or a Provincial Nominee Programme (PNPs) are the four categories for which candidates may apply this system. The Express Entry pool will contain qualified and eligible candidates for each draw, which will be particular to one of these categories.
