What is SINP Draw?

Saskatchewan Express Entry stands as one of the International Skilled Worker streams within the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP), a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) administered by the province of Saskatchewan. Individuals who are part of the federal Express Entry pool and have substantial skilled work experience in an occupation not found on the SINP Excluded Occupation List can submit an Expression of Interest for consideration in this stream.

Once selected and nominated successfully through the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream, candidates will receive invitations to formally apply for Canadian permanent residence. The stream employs the SINP Points Assessment Grid to assess and rank prospective candidates in relation to each other. Only those candidates with the most competitive profiles will receive invitations to submit an official application to the program.

What Does Expression of Interest Mean in SINP?

Expression of Interest (EOI) is a preliminary application process required for applicants seeking entry through the OID and Express Entry streams within the SINP. During this step, applicants are asked to complete an online form, providing essential information and expressing their intent to apply to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

Within the international skilled worker EOI system, applicants whose profiles align with Saskatchewan’s labour market needs are selected. Eligible applicants who achieve the highest EOI points are issued an “Invitation to Apply” (ITA). It’s important to note that not every applicant in the EOI pool will receive an ITA from the province of Saskatchewan. To be considered for SINP permanent residency, an applicant must have at least one EOI profile in place.

What are Various Saskatchewan Immigration Streams?

Saskatchewan Immigration streams offer four distinct options for those considering immigration to the province:

  • International Skilled Worker Category: This category is designed for skilled workers aspiring to reside and work in Saskatchewan.
  • Saskatchewan Experience Category: This category caters to foreign workers already residing in Saskatchewan, including those holding valid work permits and international graduates.
  • Entrepreneur and Farm Category: Individuals seeking ownership and active operation of a business or farming venture in Saskatchewan can explore this category.
  • Farm Owner and Operator Category: This category is for individuals who are considering a move to Saskatchewan and have a background in farming. It is for those who have the necessary capital, including financial resources and assets, to invest in a farming operation.

How to Apply for SINP?

Candidates invited under various categories received invitations linked to specific NOC codes. These NOC codes play a vital role in assessing eligibility for SINP latest draw.

How to Apply for SINP

If you are residing outside of Canada, you have the option to apply directly through SINP in both the Occupations In-Demand and Express Entry categories. Furthermore, individuals interested in applying for SINP latest draw without entering the Express Entry pool can choose the Occupations In-Demand category.

It is important to note that there exists a list of NOC codes that do not qualify for SINP. Therefore, it’s crucial for candidates to verify their eligibility before initiating their application.
